What is Founding Customer Pricing?
Founding Customer Pricing is the rate available while Vizier establishes its market presence. Whatever rate you activate on is protected for 24 months from your activation date — it will not increase during that period, even as list pricing rises. After 24 months you move to the then-current rate, and we will tell you well in advance of that happening. There is nothing else to it: no introductory period that expires after three months, no usage cliff, no bundled credits to track.
Is it really unlimited users on every plan?
Yes, on all three tiers. Per-seat licensing penalises exactly the behaviour that makes analytics valuable — the CFO, the operations lead, the quality director and the revenue cycle manager all working from the same findings. Charging for each of them creates an incentive to restrict access, and restricted access is how organizations end up with one analyst as a bottleneck. Tiers scale by data connections, intelligence scope, refresh cadence, governance depth, integration scope and support level instead.
What counts as a data connection?
Any distinct source feeding Vizier. A monthly CSV export is one connection. A scheduled SFTP feed is one connection. A direct EHR connector is one connection. If you connect your EHR and also upload a payer remittance file, that is two. Connections can be reconfigured as your data estate changes — you are not locked into the ones you pick on day one.
What is an intelligence domain?
A performance area Vizier actively evaluates — Revenue, Operational, Quality, Population Health, Workforce, Patient Flow, Financial Performance and Elective. Practice includes one domain and can add two more for $250 per domain each month. Health System includes five; Enterprise includes all domains.
What EHR systems are supported?
Vizier connects to every major EHR via FHIR R4, HL7 v2, OAuth-based APIs, or scheduled exports — direct read-only connectors are live for Epic, Cerner / Oracle Health, AthenaHealth, Allscripts / Veradigm, MEDITECH, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, SystmOne (TPP), and EMIS Health. If your EHR isn't on that list, scheduled feed and manual upload paths are always available as alternatives.
Do I need to connect my EHR before I get value?
No. Practice starts with file or supported data ingestion and does not include a production direct EHR connector. Direct EHR or supported production connectivity begins with Health System. You can start with a monthly export, payer file or spreadsheet your team already maintains.
Is a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) included?
Yes, on every tier — Practice, Health System and Enterprise. It is not an add-on or an upgrade. Any organization handling protected health information should have a signed BAA in place regardless of size. Our standard BAA is executed within one business day of request. Enterprise customers can negotiate custom terms.
How does this compare to Tableau or Power BI?
A Tableau deployment for a mid-size health system typically runs into six figures for implementation, plus per-user licensing, plus the ongoing cost of an analyst to build and maintain the dashboards. Power BI is cheaper on licensing but still depends on analyst time to turn data into something a leader can act on. The more important difference is what you get at the end: a BI tool gives you the ability to build a view and look at it. Vizier evaluates performance continuously and tells you what changed and what deserves attention, without anyone having to think to ask.
How long does setup take?
Practice includes self-service onboarding, with assisted onboarding available from $1,500 one time. Health System implementation starts at $7,500 one time. Enterprise implementation is scoped around integrations and deployment complexity. Implementation is separate from the subscription.
Can I change tiers later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately at the new rate, and your 24-month founding price protection carries across. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Practice and Health System are billed monthly with no lock-in; Enterprise agreements are typically annual.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. On cancellation you have 30 days to export everything. After 30 days it is permanently deleted from our systems in line with our retention policy. We do not hold data hostage and we do not charge export fees. Enterprise agreements can define different retention and deletion timelines where regulation requires it.
Is pricing different outside the United States?
Pricing is listed in USD. We serve customers in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the European Union. UK customers can be invoiced in GBP at the prevailing exchange rate; Middle East and EU customers are invoiced in USD. Get in touch for regional invoicing questions.
