How to Get Clinical Analytics from AthenaHealth in 24 Hours
AthenaOne produces rich clinical and operational data. Vizier turns those standard exports into answers. No athenaNet consultant. No API integration. No waiting.
The Process
Six steps from athenaOne to clinical intelligence
01
Navigate to athenaOne Reporting
In athenaOne, access Reports → Custom Reports or use the standard Clinical Quality reports. AthenaHealth provides pre-built reports for quality measures, clinical outcomes, and operational metrics.
02
Select Your Report Type
Choose from: Patient Quality Reports (HEDIS, MIPS), Appointment and Scheduling Reports, Financial/Billing Reports, Clinical Summary Reports, or Population Health Reports. Each exports to CSV or Excel.
03
Configure Date Range and Filters
Set your date range, provider filters, department, and any clinical filters (diagnosis codes, payer type, etc.). AthenaHealth supports up to 24 months of historical data in standard exports.
04
Export to CSV or Excel
Run the report and download as CSV. AthenaHealth report exports include column headers that Vizier's schema intelligence automatically maps to clinical concepts.
05
Upload to Vizier
Drag and drop the CSV into Vizier. Vizier identifies athenaOne's standard column naming conventions (e.g., DOS, CPT, Dx1, Dx2, ProviderNPI, Insurance) and maps them automatically.
06
Ask Your First Question
Within 60 seconds: "What's our 30-day readmission rate?" or "Show me A1C trends by provider" or "Which payers have the highest denial rate?" Get the answer immediately.
Compatible Reports
AthenaHealth reports that work with Vizier
These standard athenaOne reports export cleanly to CSV and are immediately usable in Vizier without any data transformation.
Ready to Start
Export your first athenaOne report. Upload it to Vizier. Ask a question.
Your athenaHealth data already has the answers to your quality, operational, and financial questions. Vizier makes them accessible in 60 seconds.
